My name is Yang (Sunny) Xiao and I am a 6th-year math PhD student at Brown University working with Prof. Jeffrey Brock.
My research interests are in hyperbolic geometry and low dimensional topology. More specifically, I study veering triangulations, arc and curve complexes, and incompressible surfaces in hyperbolic mapping tori.
I am also interested in topological data analysis and geometric machine learning.
Here is my CV.
